Teri Nelson is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 19 years of experience in the mental health field. Teri holds a Master’s of Education degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida in 2007 and is licensed in three states to offer virtual sessions as a professional counselor in the following states: Arizona, Colorado and Florida. Teri has an office in South Scottsdale for in-person sessions. Teri thrives in working with young adults who are navigating current life transitions, past trauma or challenging relationships. Teri welcomes diverse communities and backgrounds. Teri uses a non-judgmental, client-centered and solution-focused approach to help clients navigate their needs and goals while finding the best outcome for each person’s unique life situation. Teri believes that the therapeutic relationship should be collaborative, safe and evidence-based for optimal progress.
